These guys are great! I have been thinking about getting into Wing Foiling ever since I saw some foilers flying above the water while I was in Hawaii a couple... read more of years ago. I SUP on a lake in Northern Alabama but have never come across anyone Wing Foiling on it so decided to be the first. After watching lots of videos I reached out to several vendors with some questions and Timi at HydroStation Watersports immediately responded. He answered my questions and asked follow-up questions. It became obvious that he is passionate about foiling and wanted to help me get into the sport with equipment that would give me the best chance for success. He came up with several options that met my budget and experience level. To make a long story short, he is now my go to guy for foiling questions and equipment. As an old sailor I have never tried the field of windsurfing, I was more interested and challenged with large sailing vessels. I have known Timmy Daniel for many... read more years (full disclosure he is my son-in-law) that sailing and the sport of surfing are his area of expertise and enjoyment. When she came to visit my family here in the USA, Timmy determined that I would not return home to my country, only after I learned to windsurf, and so it was, we loaded up and went to the beach. Think of a person at the age of 62 who has just tried windsurfing, Timmy, with his professional attitude and patience, began to teach me To surf, what can I say in the first half hour my falls from the surfboard brought me to moments of despair, but Timmy with patience and encouragement gave me renewed energy and it's a miracle !!! After about an hour I am confidently surfing independently which in my eyes is a record distance. I fell in love ! now all that's left is to get to my house, get equipment and practice what I learned from timi, surfing with the wind in my home bay, the Bay of Eilat.
