A slightly longer more drawn out outline combined with the round pin tail creates a lot of outline curve to turn as vertical and steep as you dare whilst still giving the board great float and ride capabilities with deceptively good early planing performance. The new bottom shape creates endless drive combined with a performance rocker that means you always have speed with an intuitive, instant rail to rail reaction. Outline: The board has a slightly longer and more drawn-out outline than its predecessors. This design helps the board to carve better, allowing riders to make very tight and vertical turns, mimicking the sharp and steep maneuvers you’d do while surfing. This longer outline translates into improved performance in a variety of wave conditions.
Tail Design: It has a round pin tail, which is instrumental in creating a smooth and continuous outline curve. This kind of tail is beneficial when executing sharp turns and maintaining control at high speeds. It also helps to provide stability and a clean water release which is essential for wave riding performance.
Float and Ride: Despite its aggressive turning capabilities, the board doesn’t sacrifice floatation and a comfortable ride. The design enables it to plane early, and the volume distribution ensures it remains stable, even in less than ideal conditions.
Bottom Shape: A new bottom contour has been introduced in this generation, contributing to a drive that helps generate and maintain speed throughout maneuvers. The shape is tailored to optimize grip and control when the board is carving on the face of a wave or transitioning from one turn to the next.
Performance Rocker: The board’s rocker line (the curve of the board from nose to tail) is tuned for performance. It’s designed to provide speed and responsiveness, allowing for fast, rail-to-rail transitions. The instant response of the board to directional changes is what allows it to be both forgiving to the rider and radical in performance.
