Drifter 5 Carbon
The Drifter 5 has been redesigned around the idea that a blend between glide and stability unlocks foiling progression and more days on the water. This sleekest Drifter to date improves take off by offering low-end stability to settle into your stance from kneeling to standing and helps the board stay planing, planted, and controlled when conditions are messy.
Using our signature yet subtle blend of aero nose and rails improve airflow, reduces windage and hides volume while the standing zone remains direct, supportive, and stable. This balance makes the Drifter 5 an ideal choice for riders who want a board that feels forgiving and easy to stand on the water, yet responsive and engaging once up on foil.
Vent Plug. Solid State vent plug, simple to use, immune to leaks and failures.
Foil Assist. Integrated 2.4 GHz tuned connectivity windows for Foil Assist systems.
Handle. Carry handles on boards 70 liters and larger for convenience.

Compared to our longer & narrower Super K2 and Arc midlength shapes, the Drifter 5 offers a more compact and traditional feel with significantly more stability and less swing weight.
Speed.
Optimized aero, hydrodynamics, and volume distribution for the easiest, fastest take off in the Drifter line. Controlled rebounds at both high and low speeds in all conditions.
Shape.
Slightly longer and narrower outline than previous Drifter Series. Subtle aero nose keeps the board feeling compact and thinner in the standing area relative to its volume. Subtle double concave displacement bottom contours and overall foam distribution prioritizes stability through the standing area and balances the board from nose to tail for smoother carving and transitions.
Bottom.
• Subtle double concave displacement hull blends into tri-plane bottom chines.
• Flatter hull contours offer stability and a softer, more predictable feel on touchdowns.
• Harder defined tail chines and edges release instantly for faster take off.
Rocker.
• Reduced entry rocker and flatter tail rocker line for faster acceleration and earlier lift off.
• Moderate nose curve to match wave shape, handle steeper drops, and stay composed in surf.
• Smooth recovery in light wind and weak swell, stable feel in messy conditions, cleaner rebounds on touchdowns with less sticking.
Agility.
Significantly faster and more efficient than previous shorter wider boards and Drifter models. Easier to balance and redirect cross-wind than longer narrower midlength shapes. Compact and responsive with minimal swing weight through jumps, carves, turns, and jibes.
Construction.
Carbon. Affordable yet advanced full core layup for strength, stiffness, and lightweight performance. Full biaxial and unidirectional carbon reinforced with S-glass for maximum stiffness and impact resistance. Reinforced in weight bearing areas to improve response, feel, and long-term durability. Integrated fiberglass windows tuned to 2.4GHz for Foil Assist connectivity.
Pads & Straps & Stance.

• Straps offer a more locked-in, powerful feel through carves, more control through jibes, and now controlled narrow snowboard stance options.
• Closer ½ ” strap insert increments offer more adjustability.
• Sizes 44, 52, 60, 70 come with a V Strap upfront and a back single strap. Sizes 80, 90, 100, 115 come with 3 separate single straps, 2 front, 1 back, as these sizes are wider and require having the front foot more towards the rail, hence two footstraps on the front for these sizes, to be ablee to comfortably manage the board leverage in turns.
Stance position is balanced according to board length and foil tracks position. Length on the bigger boards helps with take off and glide. The inserts on the bigger boards are more forward than on the smaller sizes.
• Surf-style insert pattern with slight offset options for centered, balanced directional riding, reducing heel side bias and keeping you aligned over the foil.
• Centers your stance and center of mass over the board and foil, instead of loading weight too far onto the heel side like traditional wingfoil slalom or racing patterns.
