An all new windsurfing base that is lighter and stronger, yet also more ergonomic and visually refined. It’s design seamlessly integrates and flows from the deck of the board into the base of the mast.

Welcome to our new base.
At our core, we follow a simple rule: include only what’s truly needed—nothing more. Every component begins with a question: Is it essential? From there, we push further. How can it be lighter? Stronger? More efficient? How can it deliver more function while occupying less space? This is the discipline that shapes everything we build.
This new base had to pass every test. For over a year, our entire team pushed it to the limit-sailing in all conditions, including sessions with a broken tendon—to ensure not just superior strength, but uncompromising safety. Because when it comes to the critical connection between the board and the rig, there is no room for compromise.

Slim Base. Pro.

windsurfing base for Wave, Freewave, Freestyle, Freecarve, Freeride, Freerace, Race, Foil, Youth, Trainer.

Flow Drain Disc.

Absorber disc made from Nylon. Featuring precision‑cut holes to drain water and prevent pooling in the mast track. The holes also provide a clear visual reference for positioning on the mast track.

Quick Release solution. A Goya Windsurfing batten tensioner key will allow you to unscrew the base with ease by inserting it into the holes and using it for extra leverage.

Internal Safety Rope.

The new tendon includes an internal double-loop Dyneema rope. If the tendon fails, the board and rig stay connected so you can sail back to shore.

Tendon.

The black tendon is built for durability and better UV resistance. Based on decades of safety testing, we recommend regularly inspecting tendon flex, connection points, and screws.

Note that humid conditions, warm climates, and usage intensity can all influence and shorten tendon lifespan.

The tendon flexes from the middle due to its unique shape rather than all the force being applied to the area where the connection bolts are. This means it’s easier to see if the tendon is starting to wear or degrade.

Construction.

Fewer Pieces. Cleaner Design. A simpler construction with fewer parts cuts weight and failure points. Everything is slim and aligned so the base stays out of the way and works the same from every angle.

All metals made from 316 Stainless Steel. Plastic base plate made from Nylon. Tendon made from black TPU. Absorber Disc made from Nylon with pressed EVA grip surface. Safety Rope made from Dyneema, double loop with triple knots.

Geometry.

Quadruple Grip.

In cold conditions, you need as many fingers as possible to tighten and release the base. Four ridges give you a secure, even grip when your hands are wet or numb.

Soft Edges.

Rounded edges and a low profile reduce impact on your feet and toes. Slimmer parts mean less material, less weight, and less friction when you move around the board.

Circular Outline.

A circle with no corners is the kindest shape against your feet and toes. The symmetry makes the base easier to handle, easier to mount, and easier to forget once you’re sailing.
