KT AR – All-Around Thruster EPS Carbon Construction.
Stock Sizes: Straight-off-the-rack stock sizes come in Camo Carbon Technology.
Keith Teboul: “AR stands for All-Around. The concept for the AR came from me working with Imaikalani deVault Ian Gentile and Kai Lenny this last summer as they where looking for a shape that would allow them to surf in below average conditions and be able to carry speed and still be able to maneuver, do airs and flow through flat spots.
The AR is a board for day to day average conditions leaning towards speed, flicky turns and airs.
An easy paddler with an even foam flow/fuller outline/ slight bump in the tail outline. The rocker is low off the tail with a medium entry. Low tail rockers keeps your speed.
Medium entry helps to not get hung up at low speeds in mid turn. Fuller rails help to keep the flow through turns and drive in the bottom turn.
This board comes as a thruster with future boxes.
I would say this board sits in between the Crusher and the Plate Lunch.
We are doing this in PUE construction which is the traditional polyurethane wood stringer blank but we add the newer feature of epoxy resin for a quicker flex and more durability.”
