Freewave Thruster
The recipe for the One starts with a Custom Thruster base shape, adding a Slalom Rocker, and installing Bump & Jump freeriding geometry.
Building on our latest progressive wave shapes, generation 12 of the One has become more agile and faster than ever. The New One is lighter and packs more fastness than ever before. Removed deck sticker for lightness and sustainability, added a Powerbox for lightness, reduced drag, compatibility with larger fins, and easy single screw set up from the deck of the board. Essentially, the best of all worlds, fusing the best traits of each of our boards into one. The One 12 Carbon. Generation 12.
Combining explosive speed, range, and ultimate comfort. Ridable with the center or outboard straps as a thruster or single fin. The new volume displacement, reduced weight, increased water flow, and new compact outline bring all the power right below the rider. Improving agility and comfort on those longer, choppy runs. Transitioning seamlessly from planning to flying over chop to jibing is second nature to you and the One.
Feeling.
The new One 12 has a freerace-inspired rocker (from the Bolt 4) for maximum speed and control. Wave board-inspired outline and rail taper enable you to hold your speed during gybes and turn. Overall, a faster and more engaging, easy feel.
Construction.
A holistically reimagined construction process, consisting of a unique blend of Biaxial, Uni-Directional, and Plain Weave into our proprietary Carbon Monocoque – connecting mast track and stance to rails and bottom, forming a cohesive whole – as well as an entire S-Glass hull, enables us to now craft boards identical to our custom boards built on Maui. A tailored Hyper Skin sandwich layout creates the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio. S-glass rail bands provide ideal torsional strength without adding weight or reducing flex.
Speed.
A more evenly distributed volume flow enables you to get planning earlier, and the faster rocker line with double concaves gives you more speed and comfort.

Agility.
At home in flat waters and across the surf. A slightly more compact outline with the new progressive rail taper makes this our most responsive and engaged One to date.
Highlights
Bottom
The double concave runs within the V, blending out towards the tail. Overall, V throughout the board to cut through the chop, ease of planning, and great turning ability.
Rocker
Inspired by the new Bolt 4, a new faster rocker line for better top speed and control in choppy conditions.
Outline
The new, slightly shorter, more compact outline means the new One 12 is more maneuverable and easier to turn.
Rails
A fuller and more forgiving rail at the front, with the same taper as the wave boards, tours the back to improve comfort, reduce drag, and create an easier rail-to-rail feel.
Nose
A more sleek and aerodynamic nose for minimum drag, slightly wider than the wave boards.
Tail
Drop swallow tail for faster water release and added range.
Pads.
Dual Density Pads, redesigned from the ground up, provide better grip and comfort. A new layout and optimized dual-density blend means you have the right support and cushioning where you need it whilst saving weight and minimizing drag. The new patterns are angled in just the right direction to give you maximum grip and connection to the board.

Fins.
The One 12 Carbon is the first of its kind to come without compromise on the back footstrap position.
In previous generations, like on any board with a Powerbox and its inherent deck screw hole, we had to compromise our back footstrap position in relation to the fin screw position. For this new generation, compromise was no longer an option for us, and we desired all inserts in the exact and optimal position determined during testing. The solution was to change the design of the fin itself. Together with MFC, we have succeeded in positioning the fin forward on its base. Resulting in the perfect fin position and footstrap position.
This is another step in re-imagining and leaving no stone unturned in the development and design of our boards.

ONE vs. Carrera.
Choose the ONE 12 over the Carrera 5 if you plan to spend more time in the surf, need a back-center strap, and require the riding ability of a Thruster.
