This 4th generation Power has inboard and outboard stance positions for different conditions and skill levels.
It’s more compact with a slightly wider tail block, tweaked rocker, and volume distribution, and more supportive than ever. But don’t let this mislead you. It’s a thoroughbred Quatro board and carries over traits from its more radical siblings to lay turns and send spray flying when the waves do pick up.
Feeling.
The Power 4 has a more compact and parallel outline for improved early planning and maneuverability. Overall, a narrower outline combined with a V-bottom shape provides the perfect combination of speed and comfort. The surf-inspired rocker and wider diamond tail block mean you can send spray on the smallest, weakest of waves.
Construction.
A holistically reimagined construction process, consisting of a unique blend of Biaxial, Uni-Directional, and Plain Weave into our proprietary Carbon Monocoque – connecting masttrack and stance to rails and bottom, forming a cohesive whole – as well as a full S-Glass hull, enables us to now craft boards identical to our custom boards built on Maui. A tailored Hyper Skin High Density Full Sandwich layout creates the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio. S-Glass rail bands provide ideal torsional strength, without adding weight or stiffness.

Speed.
The most drivey board within the Quatro range due to the wider tail block and more parallel outline of the Power 4. A True Wave Board for Heavyweight Riders.
Shape.
Wave Outline, Free Race Rocker, Freeride Comfort. More compact with a slightly wider tail block, tweaked rocker and volume distribution, more supportive than ever.

Agility.
Fins and foot straps are further back making the Power 4 super agile. Waveboard inspired geometry.
Highlights
Bottom
Double concave runs within the V blending out towards the tail. Overall V throughout the board to cut through the chop and ease of planing and great turning ability.
Rocker
A free race-inspired rocker for control and comfort with surf-inspired tweaks for wave performance.
Outline
More compact and more parallel.
Rails
Overall less taper to carry more speed through in lesser conditions. A sharper edge further forward creates better water release for early planing and top speed.
Nose
A more sleek and aerodynamic nose for minimum drag, slightly wider than the wave boards.
Tail
Wide shallow Diamond tail offers the best combination of reduced rail length for maneuverability and increase width for early planing.
Pads.
Dual Density Pads, redesigned from the ground up, provide better grip and comfort. A new layout and optimized dual density blend means you have the right support and cushioning where you need it whilst saving weight and minimizing drag. The new patterns are angled in just the right direction to give you maximum grip and connection to the board.

Fins.
The Power 4 is the first of its kind to come without compromise on fin position and footstrap position.
In previous generations, like on any board with a Powerbox and its inherent screw hole, we had to compromise on the fin position in relation to the foot strap position. In this traditional format, the center fin would be set too far back. For this new generation, compromise was no longer an option for us, and we desired all inserts in the exact and optimal position determined during testing. The solution was to change the design of the fin itself. Together with MFC we have succeeded in positioning the fin forward on its base. Resulting in the perfect fin position and footstrap position.
Another step in re-imagining and leaving no stone unturned in the development and design of our boards.
